Description

Known as one of Mexico's most representative dishes; Cochinita is a Mexican slow-roasted pork dish that comes from the Yucatan Peninsula. It is prepared with pork meat marinated in strongly acidic citrus juice, colored with achiote, and roasting the meat while it is wrapped in banana leaves in order to give cochinita Pibil that unmistakable flavor for which its famous not only in Mexico but all over the world.
