Vesuvio Pasta with Spicy Sausage and Swiss Chard

1 Lb Central Market Vesuvio Pasta
1/2 cup(s) reserved pasta water
1 Lb spicy Italian sausage
1/2 cup(s) red onions, diced
2 Tbsp garlic, minced
1 bunch Swiss chard, chopped
1 Tbsp lemon, zested
1/3 cup(s) living basil, chiffonade

Instructions

Place a large pot of water on high heat and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water for sauce.

Meanwhile, cook sausage in a large sauté pan until almost fully cooked. Add in onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.

Add Swiss chard and stir-fry 3-4 minutes until just wilted. Stir in reserved pasta water and pasta, and toss. Cook an additional 3-4 minutes until water is almost all evaporated.

Turn off heat. Add lemon zest and fresh basil, toss, and serve immediately.
