Thai Basil Beef Salad

Ingredients

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Tbsp canola oil
1 Tsp low sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp Sriracha sauce
1 Tsp garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 Lb top sirloin steak
1 Tsp black pepper
1 green onions, chopped
1 cup(s) basil
1 cucumber, sliced
1 tomato, sliced

Instructions

To make dressing, mix together oil, soy sauce, Siracha, garlic and vinegar in a bowl.

Season beef with pepper, then sear in a large, non-stick pan over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side; add green onions, cook briefly then remove from heat.

Toss basil, cucumbers and tomato with dressing.

Slice beef, and divide among 4 bowls; top each bowl with basil mixture.
