6 Oz H-E-B Texas Heritage Jalapeño Turkey Sausage, diced
2 cup(s) H-E-B Organics Cornbread Mix, dry
1 cup(s) water
1/4 cup(s) vegetable oil
1 large egg
15 Oz can H-E-B Borracho Beans, drained
1 cup(s) H-E-B Restaurant Style 50/50 Blend Cheese, shredded

Instructions

Preheat oven and Texas shaped cast iron pan to 400ºF.

Once pan is hot, add sausage and return to oven for 10 minutes.

While sausage is heating, combine cornbread mix, water, oil ,egg, beans, and cheese until mixed. Remove hot pan from oven and and pour in cornbread batter.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
