Ingredients

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Lb Bone-In Top Blade Steak, cut 1/2-inch thick
1/8 Tsp salt
1/8 Tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced
2 H-E-B Peeled Garlic, thinly sliced
1 lime, juiced
1 cup(s) H-E-B Salsa Medium
1 Large Hass avocado, sliced

Instructions

Season steaks with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook steaks 2-3 minutes per side, turning only once. Remove from pan.

Reduce heat to medium then add jalapeño and garlic to skillet. Cook 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.

Add lime juice; stir and scrape bottom of skillet to loosen and combine any browned bits.

Stir in salsa and bring to a boil.

Pour sauce over steaks and top with avocado slices.
