Maple Bacon Ice Cream Sauce

1 cup(s) H-E-B Small Batch Pitmaster Bacon, diced small
2 Oz unsalted butter
1 1/2 cup(s) maple syrup
1 Pt H-E-B Creamy Creations Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Instructions

Place a stainless steel pot over medium high heat, add bacon and stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until crispy.

Remove bacon to a fine mesh strainer and drain fat from pan and bacon. Return bacon to pan, add butter and maple syrup and bring to a simmer.

Cook until maple syrup is thick enough to coat back of a spoon.

Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before drizzling over ice cream. Garnish with nuts and whipped cream if desired.
