Ingredients

Recipe makes 8 Servings

2 cup(s) whole wheat lasagna noodles
1 Lb lean ground beef
1 yellow onion, chopped
3 Peeled Garlic Cloves, minced
3 cup(s) Marinara Pasta Sauce
15 Oz ricotta cheese
1 cup(s) Fat Free Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Rinse with cold water, drain, and set aside.

Meanwhile, cook beef, onions, and garlic over medium heat in a large skillet until meat is no longer pink.

Stir in marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer then remove from heat.

In a medium bowl, make cheese filling by mixing ricotta and mozzarella.

In a 13 x 9 inch baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles and cheese filling. Repeat, ending with meat sauce.

Bake uncovered approximately 40 minutes, or until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
