6 large Texas Rio Star grapefruit, halved
12 Tbsp piloncillo, grated

Instructions

Preheat the broiler.

Halve and section the grapefruit. Cut between the rind and the fruit, then cut between the membrane and the individual fruit segments.

Place in baking dish.

Sprinkle each half with 1 tablespoon of piloncillo.

Broil until bubbly or edges of rind begin to lightly brown, 4-5 minutes.
