Recipe makes 8 Servings

16 Oz H-E-B Flaky Biscuits, 8 bsicuits
3 Tbsp Texana Brand Roasted Garlic Infused Olive Oil, divided use
8 Oz H-E-B Mild Sausage
1 Tsp unsalted butter
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1/4 cup(s) heavy cream
1 1/4 cup(s) whole milk
1 Tsp kosher salt
1/2 Tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Bake biscuits according to package directions, starting with 10 minutes then remove biscuits from oven and brush with all but 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Continue baking until golden brown.

In a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat, add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and sausage. Crumble with a wooden spoon and cook until well browned, about 5 minutes. Remove sausage from pan.

To same pan, add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and butter. When butter is melted, add flour and whisk 5 minutes until lightly browned.

Add heavy cream, milk, salt and pepper. Reduce heat and stir.

Add sausage back to gravy and heat through. Season to taste and add milk to thin if too thick.

To serve, break open biscuits and serve with a heaping tablespoon of gravy. Garnish with parsley.
