Hasselback Sausage Nacho Ring

12 Oz H-E-B Texas Heritage Mesquite Sausage Ring
8 slices of H-E-B Slider Cheddar Cheese, cut into 4 triangles
2 cup(s) tortilla chips
3/4 cup(s) salsa
2 Tbsp green onion, chopped

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

Place sausage on cutting board and slice every 1/4 inch and about half way to three quarters of the way through.

Stuff each slice with a piece of cheese.

Place sausage ring in a round baking dish or on a sheet pan but leave space in the middle.

Bake 5 minutes or until cheese starts to melt and sausage starts to brown.

Towards the end of cooking, add chips to center of ring and warm another 1 to 2 minutes.

Spoon salsa and green onion over sausage and, to serve, pull apart a piece of cheesy sausage and place on chip with toppings.
