Ground Turkey and Roasted Broccoli Leaf Taco

Ingredients

Recipe makes 5 Servings

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 bunch broccoli leaves, stems removed and chopped
1 Lb lean ground turkey, 93/7
1 Tsp ground cumin
1 Tsp garlic powder
1/2 Tsp chili powder
1/2 cup(s) onion, diced
10 H-E-B Mixla Tortillas
1/4 cup(s) reduced fat feta cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over broccoli leaves and toss to coat. Place on a foil lined sheet pan and roast until edges are well browned and greens are crisp.

Heat a large skillet to medium high-flame. Add in oil then ground turkey. Using a wooden spoon break apart the turkey. Add in seasonings and onion and continue to cook until well browned and cooked through.

Heat a separate pan and heat tortillas to desired doneness.

Remove broccoli leaves from oven and mix with ground turkey. Stir a couple of times to combine.

Fill tortillas with filling and sprinkle with feta cheese.

Serve immediately.
