1 cup(s) Key lime juice, plus 3 tbsp key lime zest
28 Oz California Farms Organic Sweetened Condensed Milk, 2-(14oz) cans
5 large H-E-B Grade AA Cage Free Large Brown Eggs, 5 yolks only, whites discarded or kept for later use
8 Oz H-E-B Sour Cream, full fat is preferred
1 cup(s) H-E-B Texas Roots Fresh Poteet Strawberries, roughly chopped, plus more as needed for garnishing
1 Tbsp H‑E‑B Organics Strawberry Preserves
1/2 Tsp H-E-B Fine Crystals Mediterranean Sea Salt
1/4 cup(s) H-E-B Pure Cane Extra Fine Granulated Sugar

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

To make the filling, add lime juice and zest to a blender along with sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, sour cream, strawberries, strawberry preserves, salt, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as needed. Mixture should be thick and creamy.

Place pie crusts on a sheet pan (in case of overflow during baking). Pour filling to the rim of each pie shell. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until filling is just set and slightly puffy.

Allow pies to cool to room temperature then refrigerate for at least 4 to 6 hours to allow pies to set up. Overnight is recommended for best results.

Cut and garnish with fresh sliced strawberries and whipped cream as desired before serving.
