Creamy Pepper Smashed Potato Gratin

2 Lb red potatoes
3/4 cup(s) Whataburger Creamy Pepper Sauce
1/4 cup(s) fat free sour cream
1/2 cup(s) green onions, chopped
1 Tsp kosher salt
1 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup(s) crispy fried onions

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400˚F

In large pot filled with cold water, add potatoes and bring to boil over high heat.

Once potatoes are fork tender, pour out water and return potatoes to pot.

Add creamy pepper dressing, sour cream, and green onions. Mash well until all ingredients are well combined and mixture looks like mashed potatoes. Season with salt.

Transfer mixture to an oven-safe casserole dish and top evenly with cheese and crispy onions.

Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until cheese is just browned.
