Achiote Pulled Pork

Recipe makes 10 Servings

1 Lb pork carnitas
3 Tbsp achiote seasoning
2 cup(s) fresh orange juice
1 cup(s) whole garlic cloves, peeled
1 Tbsp ground black pepper

Instructions

Place pork on a sheet pan and rub with achiote seasoning.

Set Instant Pot to sear setting and allow to come to temperature, about 5 minutes.

Add pork and sear (without the lid on) for 2 1/2 minutes on each side.

Add orange juice, garlic, and pepper to meat then secure Instant Pot lid and cook 45 minutes.

When cooking is complete, carefully twist release valve to open and allow steam to fully release before opening lid.

Shred pork with tongs. Serve hot.
