Recipe makes 24 Servings

1/2 cup(s) unsalted butter
2 Nestlé Abuelita Authentic Mexican Hot Chocolate Drink Tablets
1 3/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour
3/4 Tsp baking soda
1/4 Tsp salt
2/3 cup(s) granulated sugar
8 Oz white decorating icing
1 large egg

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Place butter and chocolate tablets in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until completely melted and smooth, about 5 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.

Beat Abuelita mixture and sugar in large mixer bowl.

Add egg and beat until combined.

Gradually beat in flour mixture until just blended.

Shape 1 level tablespoon of dough into a ball. Flatten into a disk and shape into a skull by pinching sides of bottom quarter of dough. Repeat with remaining dough. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until crisp around edges. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes then remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Spread icing in the shape of a skull on the top of each cookie.
