    Ingredients

Taco Shells (Ground Yellow Corn Treated with Hydrated Lime, Blend of Vegetable Oils [Corn Oil, Soybean Oil], Water).
  • Directions: What You Need: 1 lb. lean ground beef. 1 pkg. Taco Bell Taco Seasoning Mix. 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Shredded cheddar cheese. Chopped lettuce and tomatoes. Sour cream. 1. Brown meat in skillet; drain. Add seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water; stir. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally. 2. Meanwhile, bake taco shells on baking sheet in 300 F oven 3 to 5 min. or until warmed. 3. Fill bowls with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. Pass the taco shells and let everyone customize their taco. Makes 6 servings, 2 tacos each. One-Pan Tacos: Prepare meat as directed on package. Top with salsa, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce & chopped tomatoes. Crush taco shells & sprinkle over taco mixture. Chicken Tacos: Substitute 1lb. Boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips, for the ground beef. Use cooking spray as necessary. Caution: Do not heat taco shells in toaster oven due to possible fire risk. Tear across to open.
