In 1959, Bob and Dean Giacomini established a successful dairy farm just north of Point Reyes Station in Marin County, CA. In 2000, they teamed up with their daughters Diana, Lynn and Jill to begin making handcrafted cheese on the farm with milk from their own herd of Holsteins. Flashing forward to today, the Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company is a women-owned business, certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Their award-winning artisan cheese is made using sustainable farming methods.
