Keep Frozen- Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Thawing Instructions: When thawing, leave the chicken in the sealed plastic bag. Thaw by either - Placing in refrigerator approximately 24-48 hours or placing in cold water approximately 1-3 hours. Cooking Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove chicken from bag and place breast side up in a greased baking dish. Chicken should be gently moved around during cooking process to prevent sticking. Cooking Thawed Chicken - Cover thawed chicken lccsely with foil and bake approximately 1 1/2 hours. (For a browner look, bake uncovered and baste periodically with butter). Internal temperature must reach 155 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking Frozen Chicken Cover frozen chicken tightly with foil and bake approximately 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil and bake uncovered approximately 30 minutes longer. Internal temperature must reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Let chicken rest for 10 minutes, remove string & carve. Enjoy! Keep frozen.
