ENRICHED LONG GRAIN PARBOILED RICE (RICE, NIACIN, IRON [FERRIC ORTHOPHOSPHATE], THIAMINE [THIAMINE MONONITRATE], FOLIC ACID).Allergens and safety warnings
KEEP IN A COOL, DRY PLACE. LOT NUMBER AND BEST BY: ON PACKAGE TO RETAIN VITAMINS, DO NOT RINSE BEFORE OR AFTER COOKING. COOK PRIOR TO CONSUMPTION- Cooking Instructions Stove-top 1. Bring water to a boil in a heavy saucepan*. 2. Stir in rice. 3. Cover. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve. *Add margarine and salt, if desired. For drier rice, use less water. For softer rice, use more water and let simmer for a longer period of time. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or after cooking. Do not lift lid while cooking. Microwave 1. In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish, combine water and rice.* 2. Cover and microwave on high until mixture comes to a boil (about 5 minutes). 3. Reduce to medium (50% power), microwave for 15 minutes or until all of the water is absorbed. 4. Remove from microwave and let stand for 5 minutes or until water is fully absorbed. If your microwave does not have variable power settings, follow manufacturer's directions. Microwave ovens vary.
