  • Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan*. Stir in 1 cup of rice; Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Fluff lightly with a fork and serve. *Add 1 Tbsp margarine and 1 tsp salt per 1 cup uncooked rice, if desired.
