    Keep refrigerated or freeze. This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. Cook thoroughly. Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
  • Stovetop:
    Coat meat with seasoned flour. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a large pot over medium heat. Brown roast on all sides. Wipe or drain oil from pot. Add 1/2 cup beef broth or 1 can diced tomatoes. Season and cover. Simmer over low heat for 2 - 3 hours until tender. Do not boil or meat will toughen. Optional: Add vegetables during the last hour of cooking time.
