Description

Velvety smooth and less stringy on the inside than other varieties, Ataulfo mangos are easy to tell when ripe. They'll give a little when squeezed, are deeply golden-colored and have a few fine wrinkles. To enjoy their sweet-tart taste, peel the tangerine-colored skin and dice into cubes for a fresh fruit snack. Or cut into chunks for smoothies, drinks, fruit salad and desserts. The Ataulfo has a peachy aroma which is pleasing.
