Description

Foppen uses only the best salmon from Norway for our hot-smoked salmon. As the name suggests, hot-smoked salmon is smoked at higher temperatures (150°F to 185ºF) using oak and beech wood smoke. This gives the salmon a rich, yet subtle and refined smoky flavor. Foppen salmon is ASC-certified and comes from sustainable fisheries.

    Ingredients

    Salmon (Salmo Salar) (Fish), Salt, Distilled Vinegar Powder, Natural Flavor, Caramel Sugar Syrup, Smoke, Color Added.
  • Preparation: Serve the hot smoked salmon either cold or warm (1-1/2 minutes in a 600 watt microwave or 6 minutes in a preheated 200 degrees C/392 degrees F oven). Remove skin before eating. Keep refrigerated at 38 degrees F (3 degrees C) or below. After opening store in an airtight container and use within 4 days. Despite careful filleting, a small bone may unintentionally have been left in the fish. Aquaculture from Norway. Processed, smoked and packaged in the Netherlands.
