    Ingredients

    Sugar, Enriched Flour Bleached (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Cid), Corn Syrup, Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Palm Oil, Salt, Carob Powder, Corn Starch, Artificial Flavor.

  • You Will Need: 1/3 cup vegetable oil. 2 tablespoons water (For cakelike brownies, increase water to 1/4 cup). 1 egg. Prep Time: 4 minutes. Bake Time: 28 minutes. 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325 degrees F for dark or nonstick pan. Grease bottom only of 8-inch square pan (or use cooking spray). 2. Stir brownie mix, oil, water and egg with spoon about 50 times (batter may be lumpy). Spread in pan. 3. Bake 26 to 28 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean; cool. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Stir 3 tbsp all-purpose flour into dry brownie mix. Bake 25-27 min. Betty's tip: For easy cutting, cool brownies at least 1 hour, and use a plastic knife. Tear here.
