Ways to Use Avocado Oil

Avocado oil packs a big nutrition punch without a strong flavor. The oil is high in monounsaturated fats (that’s the good kind) and low in saturated fats (the bad kind). In addition to being a great oil to use in the kitchen, avocado oil does double duty as a beauty product to relieve inflammation and moisturize.

Substitute for Butter
Avocado oil, unlike butter, offers a vitamin-rich option for cooking and is much lower in calories. If a recipe requires butter, substitute equal parts avocado oil for the same portion of butter. Baked goods will come out softer and moister too!

Substitute for Olive Oil in Salad Dressings
Change up your salad and use heart-healthy avocado oil rather than traditional salad dressing. Avocado Oil provides flavor without the thickness of a mashed up avocado and various health benefits, including nutrients that improve cholesterol numbers and eye health.

Marinade for Grilling
Avocado Oil has a high smoke point, meaning it can handle the heat from the grates of the grill without breaking down, allowing for more effective grilling. Other oils with lower smoke points could become unhealthy under high smoke point conditions and start losing flavor.
Stir Fry Oil
Similar to grilling, stir fry requires high smoke points that traditional oils like olive oil or flaxseed oil can't withstand. Avocado Oil will not only tolerate the high smoke points, it will also maintain the nutrients and health benefits it provides. Other high smoke oils are available, however they often don't taste as good as avocado oil and can include cause other health effects.
Moisturize Skin
Like it's cousin coconut oil, avocado oil can leave your skin feeling silky smooth naturally without any chemicals or dyes.
