Supply Chain Leadership Opportunities

Whether you're a Partner looking to accelerate your career or a college graduate looking to establish one, there are many leadership opportunities available in our retail support operations: Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Transportation (MWT).

Our Associate Team Leader program prepares you for a dynamic career in Retail Support Operations.

During this 9 to 12 month program, you'll rotate through various roles and locations to develop your business and technical knowledge while enhancing your leadership skills.

Sample career path
Associate Team Leader: Prepares you for a career in Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Transportation.

Team Leader/Supervisor: Supervises a tactical team engaged in supporting the day-to-day efforts of the department. They provide operational execution and planning to ensure the absolute best service and quality for our retail customers.

Operations Leader/Manager: Accountable for the daily operational performance of the facility, which includes maintaining Partner relations, customer service, expense control, and safety. They provide leadership and development to Team Leaders, Partners, and other entities within the supply chain. Major functions include supporting the department's future direction and vision, mobilizing Partner commitment, and coordinating staffing and planning.

Facility Leader/Director: Subject matter experts who use their knowledge to solve complex business issues. They develop guidelines and procedures to set future precedent and direction. Our Facility Leaders are also involved in strategy development and leading cross-division, multi-function teams. They're responsible for providing leadership and coaching to their team in Partner relations, leadership development, and customer service. They also maximize the use of H-E-B assets and resources to achieve facility and departmental financial goals.

How to qualify
To qualify you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of one year experience in a related field with advanced technical training
  • Strong academic or work performance (3.0 GPA)
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability in coaching and developing others
  • Analytical and decision-making skills demonstrated by handling special projects and assignments
  • Commitment to a career in Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Transportation operation
