Pineapple Guide

Pineapple: Enjoy Juicy and Sweet Flavor

Gold pineapples are known for their intense sweetness, making them great for snacking, or for throwing on the grill. And pineapples are a natural tenderizer, so the juice is ideal for marinating meat. Gold pineapples also have four times more vitamin C than other varieties, plus other essential nutrients like beta carotene.

How to Select
Ripe pineapples have more color, so if they are green, check the area between the “eyes” or scales for a yellow background, and a sweet smell at the base.

How to Store
Store fresh pineapple on the counter or in the refrigerator. It's best to eat as soon as possible.
