1 cup(s) unsalted butter, softened
2 cup(s) Granulated Sugar
2 large Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
4 cup(s) All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Salt
4 Tsp Double Acting Baking Powder

Instructions

Using a hand mixer or counter-top mixer cream butter and sugar together.

Add eggs one at a time and beat into creamed butter and sugar. Add vanilla into butter mixture and beat until mixture is smooth.

In a bowl mix all dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Thoroughly mix together to form a smooth dough.

Chill for one hour before baking.

When ready to bake cookies, preheat oven to 350ᵒF. Roll out dough on a floured surface to ¼ inch thick. Cut into desired shapes and bake until golden brown (about 9 - 12 minutes, depending on size and shape of cookie cutters used).
