Slow Cooker Pot Roast and Potatoes

1/2 Tbsp olive oil
2 1/2 Lb chuck roast
1 Tsp H-E-B Kosher Salt
1/2 Tsp black pepper
2 Lb Yukon Gold potatoes
9 Oz H-E-B Select Ingredients Pot Roast Cooking Sauce

Instructions

Add olive oil to a large sauté pan over high heat.

Season one side of roast with salt and pepper and place in hot pan, seasoned side down.

Season remainder of roast with salt and pepper and brown on all sides.

Place browned pot roast in bottom of slow cooker, top with potatoes then pour cooking sauce over the top.

Cook on high 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until tender.
