1 Lb ground beef
2 large garlic cloves, minced
1 cup(s) onions, medium diced
1 cup(s) celery, medium diced
8 Oz English peas, divided into 4 oz. portions
1/2 cup(s) red bell peppers, medium diced
12 Oz Lotus Kitchen Kashmiri Curry Simmer Sauce
24 Oz Simply Mashed Potatoes
1 Tsp curry powder
1/2 cup(s) green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 cup(s) shredded Italian cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. When beef is no longer pink, drain carefully and return pan to heat.

Add garlic, onions, celery, half the peas, and bell peppers, and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper then add kashmiri sauce and stir to combine. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch or similar sized casserole dish.

In a large bowl, stir together remaining peas, mashed potatoes, curry powder, and green onions. Spread evenly over the ground beef mixture.

Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 30 minutes until browned around the edges and heated through.
