1/2 cup(s) white onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup(s) carrots, finely chopped
4 H-E-B Garlic Cloves, minced
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 cup(s) Hill Country Fare Long Grain Rice, uncooked
4 cup(s) water
1 Knorr Caldo Con Sabor de Pollo cube (chicken-flavored bouillon)
1/2 cup(s) cilantro, chopped

Instructions

Chop onion and carrot finely. Mince garlic.

Heat butter in a 3 quart saucepan over medium-high heat.

Sauté onion, carrot, garlic and rice 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until rice begins to brown.

Add water and bouillon cube; stir to dissolve cube and bring water to a boil.

Cover pot; reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

Remove from heat. Stir in cilantro and serve while hot.
