Big Game Spicy Grilled Beef Skewers

Ingredients

Recipe makes 12 Servings

1 1/2 Lb natural sirloin steak, 1 1/2 in thick
1 white onion
12 Bamboo Skewers
16 Oz H-E-B Select Sweet Tomatoes
8 jalapeno pepper
16 Oz H-E-B Fresher Lasting Salsa

Instructions

Cut the sirloin into 1 1/2-inch cubes and set aside.

Cut the onion into 8 wedges and then cut each wedge in half and set aside.

Skewer ingredients in the following order: tomato, sirloin cube, onion chunk, sirloin cube, jalapeño pepper, and sirloin cube.

Spray skewers with nonstick cooking spray.

Arrange skewers on a tray or baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to grill.

Spray grill rack with nonstick cooking spray and prepare charcoal or gas grill for cooking (375°F).

Place skewers on grill rack and grill each side for 6-12 minutes, depending on the degree of doneness you desire: 6 minutes for medium rare, 8 minutes for medium and 12 minutes for well done.

Place grilled beef skewers on a platter and serve with salsa.
