Ingredients

Recipe makes 15 Servings

7 Lb brisket
3 Tbsp menudo seasoning
2 Tbsp kosher salt
3 white onions, sliced
1 cup(s) garlic cloves, whole
1 bunch of cilantro, bunch
2 jalapeño peppers, whole
36 Oz beer
3 cup(s) beef broth
3 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425ºF.

Trim brisket of almost all the fat.

Season with menudo seasoning and salt.

Place brisket, onions, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeños in a pan large enough to fit the brisket.

Sear in oven for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes remove from oven, add liquids and cover with foil before placing back into oven.

Lower temperature to 325ºF and continue cooking for another 5 hours.
