Ingredients

Recipe makes 24 Servings

1 cup(s) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
3/4 cup(s) brown sugar
1 Tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 1/4 cup(s) unbleached all purpose flour
1 Tsp baking soda
1/2 Tsp kosher salt
12 Oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup(s) pecan pieces

Instructions

Heat oven to 375°F.

Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla with an electric mixer on high speed for 3 minutes or until the butter and sugar are light and fluffy.

Add eggs to the cookie dough mixture and beat for 1 minute using an electric mixer on medium speed.

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.

Add the flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time to the cookie dough mixture, using the electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes.

Stir in chocolate chips and pecans with wooden spoon.

Drop cookie dough 1 teaspoonful at a time, 2 inches apart, on cookie sheet pans.

Bake one sheet of cookies at a time in oven on center rack 8 to 10 minutes.

Remove cookies from sheet pans and cool on wire racks.
