Unsaved White Wine Garlic Butter Shrimp Linguine

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup White wine, or your favorite white wine
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh sage, minced
  • 4 Garlic cloves, minced, divided use
  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter, divided use
  • 2 tbsp Adams Reserve Seafood House All Purpose Rub
  • 1 1/2 lb Argentine red shrimp
  • 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cups Low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 lb Linguine pasta
  • 2 cups Water
  • 4.5 oz White wine garlic butter sauce

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tablespoons butter to a large pot over high heat. Add garlic, sauté 1 minute then stir in broth and water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook 7 minutes. Lower heat and simmer until liquid is mostly absorbed. Do not drain. Leave pasta in pot and set aside.
  3. Place a large skillet over medium heat and melt remaining butter. Season shrimp with seafood house rub and add to skillet along with Langlois Brut. Sauté shrimp 1 minute on each side.
  4. Add sage and White Wine Garlic Butter Sauce, and cook 2 to 4 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp mixture, whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, and parsley to cooked pasta. Heat for 1 to 2 minutes to heat through, toss well and finish with a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired.
