Warm Berry Oat Bowl

Unsaved Warm Berry Oat Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp Hemp seeds
  • 1 cup Old fashioned oats
  • 2 tsp Salted butter
  • 1 cup Strawberries, quartered
  • 1 1/2 cups Vanilla 2% reduced fat milk, add more liquid if you prefer

Instructions

  1. Bring milk to a simmer in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add in oats and flaxseeds then cook 5 minutes until thick. Remove from heat.
  2. Melt butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add in berries and cinnamon and sauté briefly, just until berries release their juices. Remove from heat.
  3. Divide oatmeal and berries evenly between two bowls and sprinkle with hemp seeds.
