Tzatziki Dog

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Tahini
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber(s), seeded & finely diced
  • 2 tbsp Lemon(s), juiced, divided use
  • 1/4 cup Green onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Red cabbage, shredded
  • 4 inches Whole wheat pitas
  • 4 Tofurky Hot Dogs, prepared according to package directions

Instructions

  1. To make tzatziki sauce, combine yogurt, tahini, cucumber, 1/2 of lemon juice and green onion. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Add remaining lemon juice to shredded cabbage and toss.
  3. Place a layer of cabbage on pita then top with hot dog and tzatziki sauce.
