  • 1/4 cup Shredded Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a large stock pot over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and turkey sausage, and cook until sausage is browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Remove from pot and set aside.
  2. Add celery, onion and garlic to the pot. Saute until onions and celery are translucent- about 5-7 minutes. Add sundried tomato paste and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add the sausage back to the pot along with chicken broth.
  3. Stir in sundried tomato paste and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Return Italian sausage to pot, add chicken broth and heavy cream, and stir to combine.
  4. Stir in kale, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and salt. Bring to a simmer, and continue to simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
