Turkey Taco Skillet

Unsaved Turkey Taco Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Reduced Fat Mexican Style Cheese, Shredded, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Salt Free Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Green Chili Stew
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup Baked unsalted tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1/4 cup Green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Yellow onions, diced
  • 5 oz Baby spinach, chopped
  • 1 lb Lean ground turkey

Instructions

  1. Place oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add in turkey and cook for several minutes, breaking into crumbles, until lightly browned.
  3. Then add in onion and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Add in chile stew mix and taco seasoning and mix well.
  5. Stir in spinach, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for several minutes.
  6. Add in cheese, tortilla chips, and green onion over top. Cover with a lid until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve in large bowls over chopped romaine or enjoy on its own.
