Turkey Mornay

Ingredients

  • 4 Large sized English Muffins, split in half
  • 8 oz Turkey breast, sliced, Leftover Thanksgiving turkey is perfect
  • 2 Beefsteak tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup Arugula
  • 9.8 oz H-E-B Just the Sauce Carbonara
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Brush English muffins with butter or oil, place on a lined baking sheet and bake 5 to 7 minutes until lightly toasted.
  2. Remove from oven and top each toasted muffin with turkey, tomato, arugula, and a generous amount of sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven.
  3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until cheese has melted and sauce is bubbly. Remove from oven and serve.
  4. Chef's Note: Top with a poached or fried egg for a great brunch or serve with a side of fruit.
