Tri-Tip with Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1 Lemons, zested and juiced
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb Beef tri-tip

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, parsley, lemon juice/zest, salt, balsamic vinegar and pepper mix well.
  3. Combine both tri-tip and marinade into shallow dish or zip top bag.
  4. Allow tri-tip to marinade 30 - 45 minutes at room temperature, flipping once.
  5. Remove tri-tip from marinade and grill 8 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
  6. Allow tri-tip to rest 5 - 10 minutes before serving. Serve with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
  7. Serve with grilled asparagus.
