Tofu Butter Masala Poutine

Ingredients
- 28 oz Shoestring Fries
- 1 1/2 tbsp Tandoori seasoning
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 16 oz Extra firm tofu, drained and pressed, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 12 oz Butter masala simmer sauce
- 1 Medium Fresh seedless cucumber, seeded and diced, about 1/2 cup
- 1 Medium Lime, juiced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced, about 1/2 cup
- 1/4 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven or deep fryer and cook fries according to package directions. Once cooked, toss in the Tandoori seasoning.
- Place a medium pan over high heat, and add olive oil and tofu. Stirring occasionally, sauté for 3 to 5 minutes or until tofu is browned on all sides.
- Add butter masala sauce and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine cucumber, lime, and tomatoes in a small bowl and toss to combine. Set aside.
- To serve, place seasoned fries on a plate and top with butter masala tofu and sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top and garnish with the tomato and cucumber mix.
