Tiramisù

Ingredients

  • 5 Eggs, yolks only
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups Mascarpone
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream, divided use
  • 30 Ladyfinger Cookies
  • 3 cups Strong brewed coffee, cooled to room temp
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy and slightly set.
  2. Place mascarpone in a bowl and whisk in about 1/4 cup of heavy cream.
  3. Fold mascarpone mixture into the egg yolks.
  4. To assemble Tiramisù, quickly dip ladyfinger cookies in the coffee and arrange them in a dish with tall sides so they're touching each other.
  5. Evenly spread half of mascarpone mixture over ladyfinger cookies. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
  6. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle cocoa powder over the top.
