Thai Chili Lime Ginger Sauce

Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger root, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 3 tbsp Less sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Corn starch

Instructions

  1. Combine ginger, garlic, red pepper, soy sauce, lime juice, sugar, cilantro, cornstarch and 1 cup water in a blender or food processor bowl.
  2. Blend for 30 seconds or until garlic and ginger is coarsely pureed.
  3. Pour sauce into stir-fry after meat and vegetables have been cooked.
  4. Cook until sauce has thickened.
