Unsaved Texas Whisky Pork Belly Burnt End Sliders

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Pork belly, cut into 2 inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Adam's Reserve Spicy Bacon Rub
  • 12.3 oz Fischer & Wieser Four Star Provisions Texas Whiskey Glaze
  • 3 tbsp Salted butter
  • 24 Horseradish pickles
  • 12 Brioche slider buns

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss pork belly with spicy bacon rub. Cover and place in the fridge overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 250°F. Place a wire rack on a sheet pan and arrange pork belly on the rack. Transfer to the oven and bake for 2 hours.
  3. Turn oven up to 350°F. Pour Texas Whisky Glaze into an 8X8 baking dish and add butter. Add pork belly pieces and toss with whiskey glaze. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Assemble sliders: Place 2 pickle slices and 2 pieces of pork belly in each bun. Serve.
