Unsaved Texas Sized Charcuterie Board

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Manchego cheese, cut into 3 smaller wedges
  • 1 Sliced prosciutto and mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 Brie cheese, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 cup Marcona almonds
  • 1/2 cup Dark chocolate almonds
  • 5.3 oz Wheat cracker
  • 1 cup Castelvetrano olives
  • 3 oz Sliced sopressata, folded into quarters

Instructions

  1. When building a charcuterie or cheese board you want to have a good variety of textures and flavors as well as a balance of salty and sweet.
  2. Start the board by adding things in odd numbers like 3s. I add the cheese in 3 different places on the board then build inward from there, adding and layering the different elements.
  3. Add the wet or marinated items on the board in a small bowl or dish to keep them contained and from dripping onto your table.
  4. Remember you are not limited to the ingredients listed above, choose cheeses, meats, and fruits that suit your tastes and you can't go wrong.
