Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 Hill Country Fare Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 4 slices Whole wheat bread
  • 1 Star or flower cookie cutter, 3 inch
  • 4 Extra large eggs

Instructions

  1. Spray both sides of whole wheat bread slices with the no stick butter spray. Use the cookie cutter to cut a star or flower shape out of the center of each piece of bread.
  2. Heat a heavy bottom skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Place the slice of bread with the cut out portion in the hot skillet and fry on one side. Turn the bread slice and star over on not toasted side.
  3. Carefully crack and pour an egg in the center of each bread slice. Cover the skillet and cook for 2 – 3 minutes or until the eggs are set. For an over easy egg, flip the egg and bread and cook the other side to desired doneness.
  4. Serve the Sunny Side Egg in Toast with its cooked cut out portion.
