Stewed Chicken Gorditas

Ingredients
- 1 Borracho sauce, divided in half
- 1 Mexican beer
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp Ground cumin
- 3 Garlic cloves, whole
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 cups Shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup Mexican crema
- 1 tbsp Limes, juiced
- 8 Gorditas
Instructions
- Combine 1/2 jar of sauce, beer, chicken, cumin, and garlic in a crock pot on low heat and cook 3 - 4 hours.
- Once chicken is cooked and tender, shred it with a fork and set aside.
- Prepare slaw by combining, salt, cabbage, remaining sauce, crema and lime juice.
- Prepare gorditas according to package directions. Cut a pocket in the side and stuff with chicken and slaw.
