Spinach Burgers

Unsaved Spinach Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup Yellow onions, finely diced
  • 10 oz Frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 cup Shredded reduced fat Mexican style cheese
  • 1 cup Wild rice
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 2 Large eggs, white only
  • 1 Large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Lemons, juiced and zested
  • 5 tsp Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add onion and sauté briefly until onion turns translucent. Remove pan from heat.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Form into patties.
  4. Wipe out nonstick pan. Cook patties until golden brown and firm to touch.
