Spicy Ground Beef Tostadas

Ingredients
- 1 Vegetable oil no stick cooking spray
- 16 oz H-E-B 93% Lean Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Hill Country Fare Chili Powder
- 3 H-E-B Peeled Garlic Cloves, chopped
- 1 cup H-E-B Fresh Cut Ingredient Diced Onion
- 1 Jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 Large Roma tomato, chopped
- 1/8 tsp H-E-B Kosher Salt
- 1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
- 12 H-E-B Baked Tostadas
- 4 cups Iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 8 oz H-E-B Select Ingredients Mild Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
Instructions
- Heat heavy bottom skillet over high heat 3 minutes.
- Spray skillet with non-stick cooking spray, add ground beef and stir-fry 3 minutes, while breaking up meat.
- Add chili powder, garlic, and onions.
- Continue to cook 4 minutes or until beef begins to brown.
- Add jalapeño and tomato.
- Reduce heat to medium, cook 10 minutes, and season with salt and pepper.
- To assemble, place 2 tostadas on a plate and top with 1/2 cup lettuce, 1/3 cup beef and 1/4 cup cheese.
